How do I get a quote from Guardian Bus Lines?

Use the Request a Quote form on any page, or call us directly at (587) 407-2900. Tell us your trip type, dates, passenger count, and pickup/destination, and we'll follow up with pricing and availability.

What areas does Guardian Bus Lines serve?

We're based in Stony Plain and run daily contracted routes across Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County, with charter and event transportation extending throughout the greater Edmonton region, including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Devon, and Leduc.

Do you offer wheelchair accessible or special needs transportation?

Yes. We provide wheelchair accessible school buses and accommodated routing for students and passengers with mobility, medical, or behavioural support needs. Describe what your rider needs when you request a quote and we'll plan the vehicle, driver, and route around them.

How far in advance should I book a charter or field trip?

As early as possible, especially during peak school-trip and event seasons, but we'll always do what we can for shorter-notice requests. Submit a quote request with your date and we'll confirm availability directly.

Can I rent a school bus for a one-time trip?

Yes. We rent school buses with a Guardian driver for field trips, sports teams, daycare outings, weddings, corporate shuttles, Christmas light tours, and community events. See our school bus rental page for details, or request a quote directly.

What safety standards do your drivers meet?

Every Guardian driver holds an S-Endorsement, Vulnerable Sector Screening, a current Driver's Abstract, and First Aid/CPR certification before ever being assigned a route - whether it's a daily school route or a one-time charter. See our full safety program for details.

What happens if a bus breaks down or needs maintenance?

Guardian runs one spare bus for every three in daily service, so a mechanical issue or schedule change doesn't put your trip at risk. Buses also undergo a Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVIP) twice a year in addition to daily and weekly inspections.

Can I lease a bus without a Guardian driver?

For organizations with their own licensed, qualified drivers, we consider bus-only leases on a case-by-case basis. We'll walk through your driver qualifications and insurance together before confirming terms - request a quote to start that conversation.

How do I report a concern or compliment about a driver?

Use our How's My Driving? form, call (587) 407-2900, or email office@guardianbuslines.ca. Every report goes directly to our safety team, not a call centre.
